Good sleep after the fireworks at about 10pm. Rained during the night so packed up wet. Great day with sunshine, warm weather and mild winds. It was a nice day to cycle across PEI and a great day to cycle across Canada.
Lots of fog to start the day but it cleared up before long.
Another capital city - another geocache
Sir John A. MacDonald is trying to figure out who the new guy is.
One of the six clues for the geocache was to add 1 to the height of the statute.
Once I got all the clues, I found a place to calculate the final.
I was close to Brackley Beach so thought about going to look for Heather.
Found the final north of the city on the Confederation Trail
I headed for the ferry at Woods Island and when I got there the sky turned dark
Once on the ferry it started to pour.
A look back towards PEI
Arrive in Pictou
And of course Nova Scotia
By the time I got to Pictou, it was too late to find a campground so I found a nice flat spot behind the Tourist Information Centre.
